Vintage Beauford ~ Wedding Car

Cream & Blue ~ Zeny

Our 1930’s Vintage Style Beauford 2 door convertible is painted in cream with a navy mohair hood.

Inside has seen a recent refit with cream seats, new door panels, with navy piping, and navy carpets edged with cream. New wood door trims have been fitted and the dashboard has new magnolia clocks. Our Beauford is always a popular car and receives plenty of attention.

It is, in our opinion, the best example of a Vintage Style Beauford out there and unequivocally the car of choice for those with a penchant for the true traditional.

In keeping with tradition, our cream and blue Beauford has been affectionately named Zeny

Zeny (Zenobia) is named in loving memory of my nan, Zenobia Francesca Castel-Nouvo, born in Bangalore, India in 1918.

In 1939, at the start of WWII, she came to the UK with her parents and seven siblings to support the war effort and married my Grandad Emil Etzensberger (Bill Rye). They had 3 children one of which was my Mother.

Born deaf and with very limited speech, she created her own way of communicating – a unique language of love that many of us in the family still use today. That is her legacy.

We were fortunate to see her often, and she was such an important part of our lives. She passed in 2014, but her resilience, warmth, and spirit live on in us always.
