In keeping with tradition, our cream and green Beauford has been affectionately named Olive.

Olive is named in loving memory of my nan, Olive Ethel King, born in Bromley in 1900. She grew up in Chislehurst, married my grandad Cyril Porritt, and together they raised four sons – one of whom is my biological father.

Although we didn’t see her often, she had a heart full of love for all her grandchildren. She left us in 1981, but her warmth and kindness will always stay with us.

It feels only right that this beautiful vintage-style Beauford carries her name – a timeless tribute to a very special woman.

The car itself was absolutely stunning and super comfy. I found it very easy to book with this company and all of our correspondence was professional with responses being sent out quickly. Luke downloaded the Les Miserables sound track for myself and my grandad to listen to which just brought an extra smile to my face. He went out of his way to ensure we enjoyed our trip.
